There are two money flows in Whapick and they are easy to confuse. This guide is about the one that pays us: your Wallet, your subscription, and the credit top-ups that keep your AI answering. (Collecting money from customers is a different flow, covered in payment gateways.)
Your Wallet and Virtual Accounts
Open Wallet from the sidebar and you will see your available balance and one or more virtual bank accounts in your name. Transfer money to any of them and it is credited to your wallet automatically — no receipts to send, no waiting for someone to confirm. The accounts are yours and can be used any time.
If you have not generated one yet, the page will ask you to complete a few profile details first (the page tells you exactly which), then Generate Virtual Accounts creates them. From then on, funding your account is a normal bank transfer.
Your wallet balance is what pays for your subscription and any top-ups, so it is worth keeping a little headroom in it.
Your Plan: Monthly or Yearly
On Billing you see your current plan, its AI credit allowance, and how much you have used. Every paid plan can be bought monthly or yearly, and yearly is the default — you save on the annual price versus paying month by month. The plan cards show the per-month equivalent with the annual total beneath it, plus exactly how much you save, so the comparison is honest rather than hidden.
The free Starter plan stays monthly and costs nothing, forever. There is no trial that quietly converts into a charge; paid plans are a deliberate choice you make when you need more capacity.
Upgrading, Downgrading and What You Get Back
You can move between plans whenever you like, and the maths is done for you:
- New paid plan — you get a full period from the day you buy, so you are never sold the leftover days of a month you were not paying for.
- Upgrade mid-period — the unused value of your current plan is credited against the new one, so you pay the difference, not twice.
- Downgrade — the change takes effect for the next period; your current one runs out as paid.
A fresh paid period also resets your AI credit meter to the new plan’s full allowance, so you are not starting a bigger plan with the smaller plan’s leftover usage.
Top-Up Packs: More AI Credits When You Need Them
Running low before your cycle resets? Top-up packs add AI credits to your account immediately, on top of your plan’s monthly allowance. They come in a few sizes, so you can add a small amount for a busy week or a large one for a busy month.
Top-up credits are additive and durable: they sit alongside your plan credits and are not wiped by your monthly reset, so nothing you have paid for is lost. Your effective ceiling is simply your plan credits plus whatever top-ups you have added.
Auto-Renewal
Auto-renewal keeps your plan running without you remembering a date. Turn it on and, when your period ends, Whapick renews your subscription from your wallet balance. As the end of a period approaches you get a reminder beforehand, so a wallet-funded renewal is never the first you hear of it — and if a renewal fails for lack of balance, you are notified with a link to top up rather than being left to discover it.
If you would rather renew manually, leave it off and you stay in control of every payment.
What’s on Your Bill
Every charge is written to your Transaction History on the Wallet page — the description, the amount and the date — and every debit from your balance appears there too. So “what was that charge?” always has an answer, in one list, without digging through bank statements.
The Short Version
- Fund your Wallet by transfer to your virtual account.
- Pick monthly or yearly on Billing — yearly is the default and the cheaper option.
- Upgrades are prorated; a new period gives you a full cycle and a fresh credit allowance.
- Add top-up packs any time; they stack on top of your plan and never expire with the cycle.
- Turn on auto-renewal and let your wallet keep you live.
